

Miguel Álvarez Espinoza, de 79 años de Modesto, falleció el 22 de abril de 2023. Nació en Michoacán, México el 10 de julio de 1943, hijo de Manuel y Angelina Álvarez. Miguel fue un amoroso esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano, tío y amigo que será muy extrañado. Se casó con el amor de su vida, Angelina López el 24 de enero de 1962. Miguel trabajó la mayor parte de su vida en Agricultura, y la mayor parte de esos años con Rossini Brothers en Riverbank CA. Fue un hombre trabajador que haría cualquier cosa por ayudar a quien lo necesitara. Su familia lo era todo para él, fue bendecido con 6 hijos, 22 nietos, 8 bisnietos, 7 hermanos y muchos amigos queridos. Tenía muchos amores además de su familia, uno era la música de mariachi. Aprovechó todas y cada una de las oportunidades que pudo para asistir a conciertos de mariachi y amó cada minuto. Otro de sus amores era el desayuno de menudo por los domingos que él y su amor Angelina preparaban para la familia con tortillas de maíz caseras. Se enorgullecía de su jardín y disfrutaba estar al aire libre. También le encantaba viajar a su ciudad natal en México. Si bien sentimos que un pedazo de nuestro corazón murió con él, encontramos consuelo al saber que se ha reunido con su amor Angelina.
Fue precedido en la muerte por su esposa Angelina y sus padres Manuel y Angelina Álvarez. Le sobreviven su hijo Jesús (Sylvia) Álvarez, sus hijas Guadalupe (Florentino) Valdivia, Rosamaría (Mario) Cerezo, Lorena (Rick) Armendáriz, Laura (Carlos IV) Martínez y Janelle Álvarez; sus nietas Sheleeze (Allen) Aguiar, Andrea Valdivia, Alejandría Cerezo, Maya Armendáriz, Jazlyn Álvarez, Kayla Armendáriz, Julia Armendáriz, Jordyn Bucio y Natalyia Martínez; sus nietos Erik Álvarez, Miguel Álvarez, Daniel (Carolina) Valdivia, Adrián Valdivia, Kaleb Cerezo, Isaiah Martínez, Elijah Martínez, Jesús Jr. Álvarez, Christian Cerezo, Keegan Cerezo, Kyle Cerezo, Julius Bucio y Jeremiah Bucio; sus bisnietas Erikka Álvarez y Lillyanah Álvarez; sus bisnietos Keoni Aguiar, Kekoa Aguiar, Jayden Álvarez, Josiah Quiñones, Kainoa Aguiar y Leandro Valdivia; así como sus hermanos, sobrinas y sobrinos.

Miguel Alvarez Espinoza, 79 of Modesto, passed away on April 22, 2023. He was born in Michoacan, Mexico on July 10, 1943, to Manuel and Angelina Alvarez. Miguel was a loving husband, father, grand and great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be greatly missed. He married the love of his life, Angelina Lopez on January 24, 1962. Miguel worked for most of his life in Agriculture, and most of those years with Rossini Brothers in Riverbank CA. He was a hard-working man who would do anything for anyone in need. His family was everything to him, he was blessed with 6 children, 22 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 7 siblings and many dear friends. He had many loves besides his family, one was mariachi music. He took every and any opportunity he could to attend mariachi concerts and loved every minute of it. Another love of his was the Sunday morning, menudo brunch that he and his love Angelina would prepare for the family with homemade corn tortillas. He took pride in his garden and enjoyed being outdoors. He also looked forward to traveling back to his hometown in Mexico. While it feels like a piece of our heart died with him, we find comfort in knowing he is reunited with his beloved.
He was preceded in death by his wife Angelina and his parents Manuel and Angelina Alvarez. He is survived by his son Jesus (Sylvia) Alvarez, his daughters Guadalupe (Florentino) Valdivia, Rosamaria (Mario) Cerezo, Lorena (Rick) Armendariz, Laura (Carlos IV) Martinez and Janelle Alvarez, his granddaughters Sheleeze (Allen) Aguiar, Andrea Valdivia, Alexandria Cerezo, Maya Armendariz, Jazlyn Alvarez, Kayla Armendariz, Julia Armendariz, Jordyn Bucio and Natalyia Martinez, his grandsons Erik Alvarez, Miguel Alvarez, Daniel (Carolina) Valdivia, Adrian Valdivia, Kaleb Cerezo, Isaiah Martinez, Elijah Martinez, Jesus Jr. Alvarez, Christian Cerezo, Keegan Cerezo, Kyle Cerezo, Julius Bucio and Jeremiah Bucio, his great granddaughters Erikka Alvarez and Lillyanah Alvarez, his great grandsons Keoni Aguiar, Kekoa Aguiar, Jayden Alvarez, Josiah Quinones, Kainoa Aguiar and Leandro Valdivia; as well as his siblings, nieces and nephews.

A rosary service will occur Thursday, May 4, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 7022 - Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 5, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1813 Oakdale Rd, Modesto, CA 95355. A misa will occur Friday, May 5, 2023 at 9:30 AM at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 1813 Oakdale Road, Modesto, California. A committal service will occur Friday, May 5, 2023 from 10:45 AM to 11:45 AM at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326. An entierro will occur at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, California.
