

Ranjit Singh passed away peacefully on May 1st, 2025 at the age of 78. Born on June 15th, 1946 he always retained an enlightened aspect. He had attended the Indian military and served his nation for 20 years. Soon, he had established his own family with Joginder Kaur in 1969. He had three children, Dharminder Singh, Sabjinder Kaur, and Gurinder Kaur. He was a great father towards them. Although he had disciplined them, he ensured that they were raised right. He always put their happiness first and taught them various morals upon life.
Even though he encountered various challenges within life, especially through a traumatic leg injury, he was a strong and stern man that kept going, enduring those challenges. He had the biggest heart, caring for his family and providing greatly for them. Then, his eldest son got married to Rupinder Kaur. Later, his youngest daughter got married to Jaswinder Singh. Finally, his eldest daughter Sabjinder Kaur got married to Gurlal Singh. He lived a prosperous life knowing his children got married and formed a stable life for themselves. He enjoyed spending time with all 5 of his grandchildren. Soon, he moved to America in 2015 and started a new life there. Even though the environment and the language differed, his mindset didn’t. He established a vivid community and society in which he soon obtained major respect for. He devoted his life to Gursikhi and served at the Sikh Temple for his final years. He was the finest human being, a great husband, nurturing father, and a cherishing grandfather that would always be loved and remembered by many.
