Robert Bob Wayne Cook

Robert "Bob/Robbie" W. Cook, age 73, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2016. Bob was born on October 22, 1943 in Richmond, CA to Joseph "Cliff" and Mildred Cook. After marrying Gloria Jamison, they settled in Oakdale, CA. Bob worked as a baker in bakeries in Escalon and Modesto. He also worked at Hunt's which later became ConAgra Foods as a production supervisor until retirement.

Bob was an active member of the First General Baptist Church of Oakdale, CA. He served as a Deacon, Music Leader, choir member, and Men's Ministries. At the time of his death he was a member of CrossPoint Community Church in Modesto, CA. He became interested in making walking canes which he ultimately used as a ministry for people in need of walking assistance. He always carried extra canes in his car or truck that he would offer as a gift to those he saw in need.

Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gloria. Also surviving are daughter, Donni and sons, Rick (LeAnn), Randy, and Brian (Angela). He leaves behind 10 grandchildren: Rodney (Heather), Kristen (Ryan), Joey (Kathleen), Craig (Monica), Julie (Jason), Kelly (Joey D), Denise (Jake), Stephanie (Will), Zachary, and Brianna; 10 great-grandchildren: Aidan, Ryah, Kysen, Landon, Jaxon, Brody, Zoey, Cody, Noah, Emma, and one due in May. Bob is survived by his brother, Bill and his sister, Joy. He was preceded in death by his parents.
