Ruben Medina stepped into Heaven 4/28/18. He is survived by brother Julio Medina (Patricia Medina) and sisters Dolores P. Castillo (Jesse Castillo), Esther Escalera (Gilbert Escalera), Rosalva Pena (Randy Pena) and Miriam M. Medina, as well as 17 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews.
Ruben was born in Los Angeles, CA to Ministers Nicolas O. Medina and Juana Miranda Medina. He was raised in Modesto and was an alumni of Modesto High School. Ruben made a career as a graphic artist at Valley Printing where he worked for 26 years. Ruben gave his life to the Lord when he was 18 years old and was a faithful pillar and lead guitarist for the worship team at New Harvest Christian Fellowship.
Ruben loved hiking, watching movies and Star Wars. Most of all he loved to study the Word of God and worshipping the Lord with his guitar. Ruben made several mission trips overseas and loved the Lord with all his heart, mind and soul.
