Ruby Junella Furr (June 19, 1936 - May 14, 2025), lovingly known as June Ellis, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, at the age of 88. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and cherished Granny, June lived a life filled with love, strength, and devotion.
She was born on June 19, 1936, in Roff, Oklahoma and grew up on the Horseshoe Ranch, where her deep appreciation for family, hard work, and nature began. Later, her family moved to California, where she spent the rest of her life.
June worked in real estate for many years and took great pride in helping people find homes and build new beginnings. Outside of work, she was an avid quilter, and her beautiful, handcrafted pieces brought joy and comfort to many.
June is survived by her children, Terry and Gary; her three sisters, Betty, Jane, and Robbie; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren who will carry on her legacy.
A funeral service will be held on May 30, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lakewood Memorial, with a reception to follow.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her
