Terry was born on September 28,1943 in Arkansas to parents Bill W. Graham and Beulah A. Williford Graham. Terry and his family soon relocated to Olivehurst, California. He graduated from high school, married and had one daughter, Tracy Graham. He later divorced.
Terry enlisted in the US Army at age 20 and served 7 years, including 2 tours in Vietnam Nam. He was proud of his service and would have been an Army lifer if he hadn't been tragically wounded in his last tour. He was honorably discharged in 1970 and returned to his hometown of Olivehurst. He was awarded several medals including the Purple Heart.
A few years later Terry then met the love of his life, JoAnn D. Thomas-Graham and they relocated to Empire, California. For nearly 40 years, Terry and JoAnn traveled in their RV all over the United States and Mexico, spending between 6 to 8 months on the road every year. When home, he spent much of his free time building and fixing things including a huge deck with a hot tub, a garage and covered parking spot for the RV.
Terry was also a voracious reader, with a strong preference for mystery novels. He loved word puzzles and games, as well. Terry enjoyed going out to eat, with his favorite meals being deep-fried shrimp and baby back ribs. Most of all, Terry loved his family.
Terry is survived by his stepson James Thomas (Karen Lotko); daughter Tracy Graham of Oroville, CA; brothers Nathan Graham of Oroville, CA and Charles L. Graham of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters Mary A. Million of Edmonton, KY, Virginia I. Flynn of Oliverhurst, CA, Jane O'Conner of Reno, NV, Christine L. Anderson of Linda, CA, and Brenda G. Fogleman of Citrus Heights, CA.
Terry is preceded in passing by his wife JoAnn D. Thomas-Graham, who passed away on June 5, 2016; parents Bill W. and Beulah A. Graham (maiden name Williford) both of Oliverhurst, CA; stepson Ed Thomas of Angels Camp, CA; and brothers Bill Jr. Graham of Manteca, CA and Ernest G. Graham of Horse Cave, KY.
Services for Terry will take place at Lakewood Memorial Park on Wednesday, October 22nd at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local VFW in honor of Terry.
