Troy Smith was born in Modesto, Ca. on December 17, 1969, was called home on October 24, 2017 at the age of 47. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Willie Smith and Caroline E. Wylie and brother Raymond W. Sanders. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years Sonia Zavaleta-Smith and their children, Chanel Zavaleta, Keana Smith, Troy Smith Jr. and Mya Smith; grandchildren Navaeh Parra and Evangeline Parra and sister Consetta Ann Ramirez. Troy was a truck driver for 21 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with his bike club, had a love for music and cooking, was skilled in electronics and loved spending time with his family and close friends. Troy was known for his sense of humor and contagious laugh that spread joy to everyone around; his eyes smiled and he wore his heart on his sleeve. He was always there when needed. Troy followed a spiritual path and relished his connection and belief in God. A Memorial Service is scheduled for November 3, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Lakewood Funeral Home 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, Ca.
