After some middle school she began working at a local grocery store. She learned about love, heartache, and love once more. She married Alberto Pineda and gave birth to two daughters: Erika Adriana and Gabriela Bishop.
Later in life Veronica migrated to USA in search for safety, security, freedom, and greater opportunities for herself and her daughters. Up to this point Veronica had already experienced much hardships including saving her own life. In the land of the free she became free. Like the monarch butterfly spreads its wings and flies, so did she. She worked hard and educated herself to move up in the world. She flew high and experienced the wonders of California and other States with her second husband Christopher Hermann. Together they danced, laughed, argued, but most importantly they lived.
Veronica was a powerhouse of will, determination, hard work, and so much love. She loved, supported, and provided a safe place for all those that needed it. She healed so much of herself that through her Being, she helped heal the wounds of many more. She eventually retired from Santa Clara University-Human resource department and began her new journey of caring for her family. She loved so deeply and worked so hard that she was like a mother to her grandchildren.
Veronica was a free Spirit, joyous, and willing to do whatever it took to make her dreams come true. Her smile was sweet, but her laughter even sweeter. Her touch could soothe any hurting heart. Above all she was a great mother and even better grandmother (Abui).
Veronica is survived by her two daughters: Erika Adriana and Gabriela Bishop, her grandson Curlee Elias IV Bishop, her granddaughter Zaria Nea Bishop, and her sisters and brother.
She lives on in the hearts of her daughters, her grandkids, her sisters, and in the hearts and memories of all those Souls she touched.
Her Love lights our way 🤍
