Virginia Lee Inman

Virginia Lee (Jordan) Inman, 79, passed away on January 4, 2013. Born in Chandler, Arizona to Jess and Lula (Brown) Jordan on March 22, 1933, Virginia made her home in Waterford, California for over 60 years. Known in her later years by almost everyone as “Granny,” Virginia was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great -grandmother who put family above all else. Among her many passions, she loved crocheting, quilting, and going to the beach. Although she worked in a variety of fields throughout her life, she found her calling volunteering at the Waterford museum during the past few years. Virginia is survived by three children: Lou Ann Walker of Vallejo, Tommy (Normalee)Inman of Waterford, and Jeanie (Hobert) Shaffer of Clovis, New Mexico, 8 grandchildren: Janis Inman of Roberts Ferry, Lori Knoll of Modesto, Stacey Gatten of Midland, Texas, Lisa Avrett of Modesto, Rebecca Key of Comanche, Oklahoma, Jess Inman of Waterford, Angela Inman of Duncan, Oklahoma, and Nathaniel Shaffer of Amarillo, Texas; and 7 great-grandchildren, with two on the way. Funeral services to be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA, 95326, In the Riverside Chapel on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 10:00 am.
