Virginia, known as "Betty" to many of her friends and family, was born on April 25, 1932 to parents Wiley Robinson and Elva Biford Robinson. She was born in Oklahoma, and not long after made the move to California. Betty met the love of her life, Foster Dean Walker, and the two married. They had two sons, Gene and Rick. From there, Betty's family continued to grow as they welcomed grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty was an avid craftswoman. She was skilled with sewing, gardening, cooking, and traveling. She shared many fond trips with Foster and her family.
Betty is survived by her husband Foster Walker, sons Gene and Rick, grandchildren Carrie Finley, Eric Walker, Brent Walker, and Casey Van Tassel; and great-grandchildren Bayleigh Walker, Jaron Finley, Jaxon Finley, Tanner Van Tassel, Liam Walker, Malarie Van Tassel, and Carson Walker.
A celebration of life for Virginia will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 10AM in the Heritage Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home, located at 900 Santa Fe Ave, in Hughson, CA.
