Wayne Ruben Russo

Wayne Ruben Russo was born on May 13, 1960 in Yonkers, New York to his mother Rosalinda Aponte and his father Eloise Ruben Rodriguez Russo. Wayne died on December 9, 2025 at his home in Oakdale where he lived for the past 14 years. Wayne was an entrepreneur and built multiple businesses over his lifetime. He mainly worked as heavy equipment operator and has always been his own boss. In his words he would say “I’m a self-made man”.

Wayne loved driving his tow trucks and making money. Aside from work Wayne loved riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycles, taking his boat out on the lake, and telling people stories about his life. Wayne did things his way and never compromised who he was. He was 100% himself all the time. He was a very determined man and would not take no for an answer. He loved his children and his family. He also loved his dogs. Especially his chihuahua Tina who guarded his body in life and death. Wayne was deeply loved and will be missed by many.

A visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, located at 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326, on December 19, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The funeral service will follow at the same venue from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The committal service is scheduled to take place at Oaklawn Memorial Park, 431 N Sierra Ave, Oakdale, CA 95361, on December 19, 2025 at 1:30PM.
