William was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to John Wesley Cheary and Alice Bell Kilpatrick on January 31, 1923
William was married to the late Bernedean Elkins Cheary on January 26, 1944 and moved to Hickman in 1955. He leaves behind two Daughters Kathleen Masingale And Lorena Perkins; two Son-in-laws John Masingale and Robert Perkins; Five Grandchildren; Nine Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandchild.
William was a World War II Veteran and served in the European conflict. He worked for twenty-five plus years civil service, retiring from Castle Air Force Base in 1985. He was a local farmer and he attended Waterford Assembly Of God.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 16, 11AM at the Waterford Assembly Of God Church. Graveside service will be held at 1PM at Lakewood Memorial Park.
