Julia (Acosta) Tupaz

Born on July 27, 1951 in Iloilo, Philippines.

Julia passed away peacefully, surrounded by family in Gatineau, Quebec on January 6th, 2025, at the age of 73.

She was the daughter of the late Francisco Acosta and Rosa Andrade

Wife of Rene Trespeses Tupaz Sr.

She is survived by her children, Boysie Tupaz (spouse - Sandra Martin), Barbi Angel Tupaz-Diancin (spouse - Joen Diancin), Rene Tupaz Jr. (spouse - Myleen Abaño)

Her grandchildren: Savannah Marina Tupaz, Brian Nico Diancin, Keoni Sven Diancin, Jolienne Sylvana Diancin, Bien Angele Diancin, Philip Jonell Troncoso-Tupaz and Isabella Tupaz

Her brothers and sisters: Anacleto Acosta, Leda Acosta, Maria Fe Acosta Plantig, Glenda Acosta Mana-ay, late sister Vilma Acosta Lamberto, late sister Cenia Acosta Alcala, late sister Maria Sobie Acosta and late brother Hilario Acosta.

As well as many nephews, nieces and friends.

A religious service will be celebrated on Friday January 24th, 2025 at 11:00am at St. Mark’s Catholic Church - 160 Principale St, Gatineau, Quebec J9H 3M8. Father John Malazdrewich will officiate the ceremony.

The family will receive condolences at the church from 10:15am to 11:00am

A reception will follow at Maison Funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier Beauchamp at 271 Boul St-Joseph, Gatineau, Quebec, J8Y3Y1
