It is with great sadness that we announce that Michael (Mike) John Weiss born March 25, 1944 in Timmons, Ontario, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025 after living with dementia for many years.
Mike was a loving husband to Odette Cote-Weiss, to whom he was married for 56 years. He leaves behind two daughters Christina Weiss (Jamie Millroy) and Joanne Weiss Reid (Kevin Reid), five grandchildren, Patrick, Darcy, and Gabriel Millroy, Beatrice and Maxime Weiss Reid, and Bella (the grand-dog) who loved him for his storytelling, jokes, handshakes and playfulness.
Son of the late Florence Holden and Andrew Weiss. He is survived by his sister Patricia (Joe) Schewchuk and predeceased by sister Anne Bridge, and brothers Joe Weiss and Bill Weiss.
Mike was a sportsman with a passion for country living, boats, cars, nature, animals, skiing, fishing, and fun.
He celebrated life to the fullest. He will be remembered for his laughter, his love of people, and his love of a good party. He will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
