Passed away peacefully at the Centre d’hébergement La Pêche on June 11, 2018 at the age of 82 surrounded by family. Loving mother of Darlene (Chris), Gordon (Wendy), and Deirdre (Ross). Beloved grandmother of Andrea (Joe), Kristie (Graeme), Ryan, Justin (Julie), Jessica (Sandy), Alexander and Matthew. Great-grandmother of Elisabeth. Predeceased by her parents and brothers, Bud (Bernice), Donald (Pat), Eddy (Fran), and George (Marion) survived by her sister, Theresa (Bill) and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis touched many lives with her volunteering and also their taste buds with her incredible baking. She was a kind and generous soul who could always be counted on for a smile and a laugh. Church, family, and most of all, her grandchildren played an important part in Phyllis’s life. Family and friends are invited to visit the family on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Stephen’s Church, (212 Chemin Old Chelsea, Chelsea, QC J9B 1J3) at 10:00 a.m. followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St-Stephen’s Catholic Church or the Centre d’hébergement La Pêche – Masham Residence. We would like to thank the staff and nurses at the home for taking such great care of Phyllis and special thank you to Micheline, Dawn, Martine and Rejean.
