I was blessed to have her for an Aunt, I would write letters to her for Mom (Ero Martinez) and got to know Tia very well, after I got married and moved to San Antonio we continued to write, she loved her family and so proud of her kids, she would send me pictures of  you all and her grandkids. I love her view and thoughts, her life should be celebrated i dont wear a lot of glitter but i will find something to wear today in honor of her! We all loved her and have fond memories...💝

I’ll always cherish child good memories of the garage sale trips, her teaching me how to hand stitch, and getting the coffee creamer for her at Whataburger. 
I’m many ways, Memaw taught me how to stand tall, be bold, to treat myself, have fun and make sure to look good too. She always was ready for adventure! And when she had a mission God help who was in her way. Before she went out she had to make sure her hair was perfect and she was wearing the shiniest jewelry, most colorful clothing and that’s how I’ll always remember her. My grandma was a strong woman who was ready for anything. 

I’m so thankful everything she taught me. I’ll carry her everyday in my thoughts and I know she’ll by my side as my guardian angel. I know she is at peace with Thatha and I can’t wait to see her again.

34 years I've got to know you. 34 years I've got your love. I'm so happy you can finally run and fly. Ben gay has nothing on this. I'm so glad my baby got to bring you smiles in your last year. You will never be forgotten. When I clip a coupon, when I go to Goodwill or even see good trash on someone's sidewalk. You were fearless and so independent. Love you mema!!! Fly high

Grandma 
Thank you for all the life lessons I learned how to love unconditionally as you have.
And hope one day to be able to love and spoil grandchildren like you did. My children have so many happy memories of you.
I treasure the moments we had conversations about plants and tips on sewing. Am grateful for the time we had together, I enjoyed making breakfast for you. I will miss you but I will take comfort knowing your in heaven .

Mama was more than a grandma to me she was a mother figure as well. I remember so many laughs and 99cent whopper's after church.😀 along with pinches during church! She wasn't afraid to share her feelings about anything and nothing intimated her even when we had tacos at a Mexican restaurant she made it aware that the tortillas should be made by hand. My grandpa and grandma were always together and the memories I have I will never forget. I'm thankful that I was able to experience mother hood for the first time with mama she cut Ethan's my first sons umbilical cord!! She was a wonderful great grandmother and funny as we say. Words can't express how much I loved her I know she is pain free and with my grandpa in the beautiful heavens up above. I love you mama and thank you for the beautiful memories. 💚

I will deeply miss you, you were my heart and friend, but my assurance is the joy you are experiencing  in paradise, for eye has not seen nor ear heard the things our Lord has prepared for those that love him .

Thank you all for posting.  Please feel free to post your personal memory or story of my mother.  She didn't want anyone to wear black to her funeral, she loved colors and sparkle clothes and pictures.  She loved colorful flowers and cute trinkets.   If you ever visited her home, she enjoyed reflective objects, gleaming patterns, shiny globes, crystals, etc.   We will honor her wish of not wear black (or dark) colors because she knew this was a temporary place.  

Mom loved knew Heaven would be full similar colors (Rev 21 :18) gold streets, sapphire, jasper, emerald walls.  I can only imagine her face, her smile as she looks and admires all the colors and new non-earthly colors.    I can see her running, which she hasn't done for years due to her limitations of her earthly body.   She loved her family, but I know God was her priority.  

I currently lean on God's promise (Rev 21:4)  no more tears, no more pain, no more suffering.  

Please, enter personal experience - funny or not so funny.  My mother did things outside the box, so please feel free to do the same,  I'm sure she'll enjoy it. :)
