
Anthony Dee Selph, a beloved, hard-working, and devoted individual, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on March 4, 1956, in Houston, Texas, Anthony was the cherished son of Laura and Walton Selph.
Anthony led a life marked by dedication and service. He proudly served his country as a 95B10 Military officer in the US Army from 1975 to 1981. His commitment to public safety continued with a 25-year career in law enforcement, after which he pursued entrepreneurship for 16 years as the owner of Selph Made Fences.
On February 14, 1980, Anthony married his beloved partner, Daphne Godbout, in Harrison, Maine. Together, they built a life enriched by family and shared experiences. Anthony is survived by his loving wife Daphne Selph of Spring, Texas; daughters Hannah and Trint of Magnolia, Texas, and Nonie of Sparks, Nevada; son Jason of Reno, Nevada; sister Candy of Conroe, Texas; brothers Walton of Houston, Texas, and Albert and Annette of Spring, Texas. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walton and Laura.
Family and faith were central to Anthony's life. He found joy in hunting, motorcycles, Christmas decorating, and most importantly, his deep love for the Lord since 1980.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Disabled Veterans of America in honor of Anthony's memory and his service to his country.
