Charles “Curtis” Herbert, Jr., age 72, was called home to his Heavenly Father on February 19, 2017 surrounded by his loving wife and daughters in Spring, Texas. Born in Memphis, Tennessee he was preceded in death by his father, Charles Curtis Herbert Sr.; mother, Corrine Blanton; and beloved grandmother, Lois B. Wilson. He is survived by the love of his life, Janet Greenway Herbert; daughters, Mendi Bonner & husband Jeff of Pampa, Tami Carroll of Amarillo, Kristi Hall and husband Jason of Amarillo and Carri Blackwell of Amarillo; bonus daughter Jennifer Simmons and wife Candace Pavlas of Austin; eleven precious grandchildren, Jenna Leigh, Jaycie, Garrett, Jake, Kenzie, Brady, Caden, Jaxsen, Layton, Jett and Kesley. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM with funeral services on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 1:00 PM, both to take place at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
