He worked at the ship channel (Port of Houston) for over 39 years. Dad finished from Phylis Wheatley High School in 1955, and went on to attend Texas Southern University for Pharmacy. He later met and married the love of his life, June Marie Martel, on June 27, 1959. They would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this June. We will all cherish good memories of the family gathering. The music he listened to and enjoyed was B.B. King. His favorite words were "Where is my wallet".
