Cory was preceded in death by his brother Rodney Dwayne Carlton Roberts Jr (Junior) on August 23, 1992.
Cory, also known as "The One" or "Rdroberts9" and to his online community he was a beast! Cory was truly #1 when it came to gaming and loved to display his incredible skills to the gaming community. He mostly enjoyed running with his brother Brandon, together they were very difficult to stop. He would carry his team most of the time and was an excellent teammate. Man did he LOVE having spectators. He wanted to try streaming his gaming but unfortunately was never able to.
He was highly skilled, extremely intelligent, altruistic and one of the most caring and loving people you would ever have the privilege of knowing. His favorite things to do were Call Of Duty Warzone! ACR - Americas Card Room (Texas Hold 'Em). He would always finish "in the money" in tourneys with thousands of people. He actually was able to make money off of no money tournaments through free rolls, despite that being so difficult. Very Tech Savvy!
Cory loved driving & always wanted to operate forklifts and other machinery. He loved animals very much including his dog Tiny who he kept by his side for the past 9+ years. He also loved going to the beach, fishing, jet skies, and boats.
He was the Denver Broncos biggest fan and a fan of football all together since a very young age.
Cory could skate/Rip-stick very well and enjoyed music, mostly Hip-Hop, Rock & Roll and Country but gave every genre a chance, Cory was not picky when it came to music like he was when it came to food. Some of his favorite foods however were Boneless Buffalo Wings, Steaks, Pork, Loaded Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, cheesecake, & chocolate. His favorite drinks were Monster energy, Red Bull, DR.P, tea & coffee.
Cory was never afraid to say what was on his mind at any given time or to anyone. He wanted to become a business owner so he could pay and treat his employees well. He spoke several times about the lack of pay for important employees that keep this world going and how it's only ever about the money. Cory was not greedy, he would have given you the shirt off his back. He would give or help complete strangers if/when he could.
He was a smoker and he enjoyed it. Cory smoked The Marlboro Black 100's with the red stripe. He was not much of a drinker at all and would choose MJ over alcohol any time/day.
Cory, was a great uncle, he loved kids and was the kind of babysitter you would not have to worry about & you would know your kiddos were in excellent care!
He was kind, caring and courteous but did have a short fuse and anyone could easily aggravate him. He was shy and quiet, not a people person. Cory was dependable, respectful, easy going most of the time, he had a great personality with few flaws. The only two flaws I can think of were difficulty controlling his anger and being anti-social but only in person though.
Cory was compassionate, caring, loyal, trustworthy, Intelligent, numbers and percentages were his thing, like he had a calculator in his brain. Cory was determined and dependable. He loved everyone and wanted them to know.
Cory's Favorite color was Green, followed by Blue. He always loved snakes and hunting/catching them.
