Darren was born December 20th, 1965 in Los Angeles, California to Loretear White Jackson and Willie W. White. Darren was the sixth of six children to this union, (the baby). Darren was spoiled rotten! He and his dad would have conversations and you would think it was two grown men talking even though he was only 10 years old. Darren was a vibrant outgoing child, he kept his parents and siblings busy trying to keep up with him.
He and his niece, Latrice were truly partners in crime and wherever he went she went. He would say in a deep voice, "come on Trice", and that's where the trouble started. Darren attended school in his early years in California and since he couldn't be separated from Latrice he followed her to Mississippi and completed his school in Ethel, Mississippi.
Darren was a character and those who knew him never saw a dull moment and loved him dearly. He had a kind heart and would help anyone in need.
Darren had many occupations throughout his life but his love was truck driving which took him many places. One of those places was New Orleans, Louisiana. He left New Orleans and came to Texas and made this his home.
His passion was cooking and boy did he cook. Darren lived a full and happy life doing exactly what he wanted. His motto was, "I'm doing exactly what I want until I can't do it anymore", and that's exactly what he did until the Lord called him home.
Darren was preceded in death by his father Willie W White, and his three older brothers Dan White, Wilbert Gary White and Delbert Terry White.
Hes leaves to cherish his memories his mother Loretear White Jackson, three sisters Geraldine Dotson, Rita White Moore and Regina Smyth, his daughter Cyndi White, his grandson Mario Higginbottom Jr. His confidant Timothy Fletcher and Latrell Docher his riding and cooking buddy, his Aunt Senorita Brown, his Uncle Jimmy Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
