My Poem to my friend.

Neki, I am so sorry about your loss. Our Father in Heaven is the boss. 
Devan sure kept you all on your toes. He was well taken care of and that everyone knows.
He was a blessing in all of our eyes. I'm sure he'll say "mommy please don't cry". 
Go ahead cry, pray and weep, just know that your Angel is only asleep. 
Sleep up in the mighty  Heavens above. Flying around with the white Angels and Doves. 
Also, we know that life is not a game. Someday, the Lord will be calling our name. 
I know your family is feeling blue. But right now we need to take care of you. 
You, Raven, and your mother have my deepest Sympathy. I say that with true heart felt Empathy.

 I have cancelled my trip to Las Vegas I had planned, because being there for you is far more important, and that's what real friends will do. I want you to know that you can count on me in any time of need. You can cry on my shoulder, I will wait in the car for you if you need that walk alone in the park. My ears will be available at any time of the morning, noon or night, even 6 months down the road when some may have moved on. Keep your head up and know that I am praying for you and your family. (-_-) my head is bowed & my eyes are closed for prayers. God always has the last say so, just know that Devan is in a better place.
