Faruk Cinara, 79 of Humble, Texas passed away on January 23rd, 2023. Faruk was born in Banja Luka, Bosnia on January 7th, 1944. He received an Agriculture Degree from Poljoprivredna Skola.
He married the love of his life, Nada Cinara, on April 27th, 1967.
Faruk and Nada married after meeting in Derventa, Bosnia at the hospital where she worked as a nurse and Faruk worked as a dietitian. She would come daily to report to him about her patient’s dietary requirements, and the rest is history. Faruk’s second career involved working as a Fence Designer for Atlas Fence Company before retiring.
Faruk loved to go fishing, watching the Astros in his black recliner. He enjoyed watching the History Channel and he was also an avid student of Geography. He knew facts about each country in the world, all you had to do was ask. In his youth he played soccer, barefoot, as he could not afford a pair of shoes. He was always proud to tell that story.
He is survived by his wife, Nada Cinara, daughter Iris Cinara, Dzevad Cinara(brother) and family, Nedzad Cinara (brother) and family, Atifa Cinara (sister) and family, and many more friends and family.
Letter to you all,
I am leaving, and I am thinking how an opportunity was given to live in the United States, in freedom, with my family and my dear friends. I’m thinking about how happy and privileged I am to see Iris growing up, Nada and how we are sharing our lives with each other until we are old, and how I’ll be fishing with Maid and my friends. I worked at a Fence Company that I loved. That’s why you should wipe your tears and remember me. Not as I am right now, but the person I was while I was alive because I will remember all of you and watch with happiness. I will understand your hearts. I’m just leaving to get some rest but I’ll live from now on in your hearts, if I have your love.
