She was born in Farmville, Virginia and lived a life centered around her faith, her family, and her friendships. Genieze was a devoted member of Spring Baptist Church and also enjoyed being part of the Red Hat Society, where she shared laughter and companionship with dear friends.
She loved the simple joys of life, including playing bunco, gardening, shopping, and most of all spending time with her daughters and granddaughter, who meant everything to her.
Genieze is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline Louise Bednarsky and her husband Eric, and Annetta Louise Tyler Berndt and her husband Craig; her beloved granddaughter, Ashley Monica Moody, and her husband Mark Elliott; her sister, Gail Snyder and her husband Pete; and many friends who will miss her deeply.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Glessie Mae Biddle and William Biddle, and her brother, Troy Bradford.
She was previously married to John Timothy Tyler, who remained dear to her heart, and later married Gary Ferguson, with whom she shared many loving years, and who preceded her in death.
Genieze will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and for the love she gave so freely to those around her.
Beloved mother and grandmother, safe in the arms of Jesus.
