Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX with a graveside service to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the funeral home with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Hazel was born on January 5, 1947 in St. Martinville LA to parents Gustave and Theres (Barrilleaux) Bonin. They preceded her in death.
On March 21, 1968 Hazel married the love of her life Lester J. Menard. He passed away on August 24, 2018.
She is survived by her daughter Peggy Tristan (Johnny), her grandchildren; Brandi Albertson (Kris), Chad Lewis (Samantha), Krystal Terry (Rusty), Justen Thompson (Stormi) and her sister Betty St.Pierre. Great grandchildren; Gaven Anthony, Jase Skero, Holland Thompson, Kayleigh Sigers, Audrey Sigers, Declan Mock and Magnolia (Maggie) Mock also survive her.
Hazel owned L&H Sports Bar. She played on mixed men’s and women’s pool leagues and was a grand champion for numerous years.
