

Helen Marshall was born on June 29, 1930 in Amarillo, Texas but spent her earlier life growing up with her nine brothers and sisters in Lawton, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight of her siblings. She is survived by her husband of thirty nine years, George Marshall of Spring, Texas; her sister, Joyce Avritt and husband Sam of Lawton, Oklahoma; her daughter, Barbara Pyeatt and husband, Steven of Safford, Arizona; her step-daughter, Diane Baca of Las Vegas, Nevada; her step-son, David Marshall and wife, Penny of Scottsdale, Arizona; five grand-children and three great grand-children. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and the favorite aunt of numerous nieces and nephews and will be missed greatly by all of the family.She leaves behind many friends and church members to cherish her memory. She was an active member of the North Woods Baptist Church until her battle with cancer got the best of her. A special token of gratitude to Dr. Jeffrey Lambert, Dr. Robert Behar, Dr. Laurent Gressot, Dr. Fadi Alameddine, Dr. Ayub Hussain and the entire staff of the North Cypress Medical Center for the special care that they provided along with the staff of Siverado Hospice for the excellent service that was given to Helen. North Woods Baptist Church was one of her great loves.
