

Born on August 26,1948 in Inverness, Mississippi. Henry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his parents, Fransico Salazar and Candida Aleman, brothers: Manuel Salazar, Lupe Salazar, Pete Salazar, Paul Salazar, Pablo Salazar and Johnny Salazar; sisters: Sara Cantu, Ramona Llanes, Frances Llanes and Lupita Cordero.
Family was the cornerstone of Henry’s life. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Ester Marie Salazar, and their four children: Angela Michelle Caskey and her husband Scott of Conroe, Tx., Michael Angelo Salazar and his wife Eleanor of Brookshire, Tx., Ryan Henry Salazar of Arvada, Colorado., and Stephanie Marie Salazar and her fiancé Andrew Perez of Spring, Tx, brother and sister-in-law: Steve and Paula Salazar, In-Laws: Matilde Garcia, Mary Frances Krempel, Guadalupe Garcia Kennedy and husband Michael, and many nieces and nephews.
Henry’s legacy will continue to thrive through his eight beloved grandchildren: Blaine Weathington, Brittany Juarez, Marie Salazar, Michael Salazar Jr., Lucille Pearl Santiago Salazar, Erik Caskey, Bridgette Caskey, and Krista Caskey, and three great-grandchildren: Anais Juarez, Sylvester Juarez II, and Andrew Soltero.
Henry channeled his discipline and work ethic into a successful career in the welding industry. At the time of his death, Henry had spent many years as a Welding Instructor at San Jacinto College (Central Campus)
Those who knew Henry will remember him for his jovial personality. His love for life made him a cherished husband, father, father in-law, grandfather, and friend.
Henry's journey through life was marked by the love he shared, and the passion with which he pursued his dreams. His story is one of dedication— his career, and, most importantly, to his family.
A visitation for Henry will be held Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cem, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A visitation will occur Monday, February 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A celebration of life will occur Monday, February 17, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A committal service will occur Monday, February 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338.
