

Herminio Marcos Quiñones, 80, of Spring Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at Park Manor, of the Woodlands. He was born in Havana Cuba, April 25, 1939. Son of the late Simplicio (Reynaldo) and Manuela Quiñones-Gonzalez.
He served as a Marine in the Republic of Cuba Military in 1958, during Cuba’s Revolucion. In 1970 he was a political refugee and migrated to New York. He worked for the Hertz Corporation as an auto- mechanic. He was a hard working and tenacious and within a few years, he opened a mechanic shop in Union City New Jersey. He was a very loving father and husband. He retired after more than 30 years, due to heath issues. He was tremendously strong man, who was devoted to his family. After medical retirement he devoted his life to the church and became a pastor teaching and spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. He will be sorely missed by all those he has touched.
He is survived by his wife and companion of 40 years, Mirta Quiñones-Alvarez, one son Robert Quiñones; two step-sons, Michael Novoa of Woodland Texas and Frank Novoa of New Jersey; two grandchildren Marcos Antonio Quiñones and Ana Estrella Quiñones. He was preceded in death by two step-grandchildren Penny Ann Nickel and Brianne Marie Kirschner.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 4, 2020 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery
