He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Lily of the Valley Baptist Church in Liberty, Texas. As a young man, Jesse sung in a gospel group.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Rosa L. Rideout and to this union seven children were born, 4 daughters and 3 sons. In 1969 Jesse relocated his family to Houston, TX. He was employed by several companies but had over 25 years in the oil and gas industry before retiring from Phillip Petroleum (ConocoPhillips).
Jesse was a very loving, devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle. He had a passion for fishing, and watching “The Heat of the Night”.
Jesse is preceded in passing by his parents; Jesse Sr. and Fannie Warren; his son, Carl Warren; his great-granddaughter, Zorrie Lei; two brothers and four sisters; his maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife of 60 years, Rosa L. Warren; four daughters, Diana (George) Knighten of Humble, TX, Wanda Carter of Houston, TX, Tonya Warren of Humble, TX, Sonya Warren of Houston, TX; two sons, Jesse Warren III and Charles Warren Sr. of Humble, TX.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Melvin Risher and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
