Karl Edward Rodriguez, loving father, husband, brother, and son, joined his Lord on Friday, September 30, 2016 after a long battle with chronic illness. Karl was born and raised in Camden, New Jersey, where he was active in scholastic sports, and developed a love for music mixing and engineering. Karl was also a gifted street artist, creating numerous designs and murals for family and friends over the years. Karl had resided in Texas for the last 7 years and in Houston for the last 3 years, where he lived with his wife and child. Karl worked for Sunstate Equipment, which he described as doing the “job of a lifetime – I get to play with big toys all day!”. He will be truly missed by those who knew him and loved him. Karl is survived by his wife Jessica, his beloved son Angelo, and his extended family of in-laws – parents Rick and Patricia Gammon, grandparents Bradley and Bonna Platt , brother Eric, sister Jennifer, and brother in law Jeff, as well as sisters Angela, Stella, nieces Sanice, Sanee, and Sade, and countless friends and coworkers.
Visitation will be held from 5:00PM – 8:00PM on Tuesday, October 11th at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 10:00 in the Chapel at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, with Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
