Laura Melancon

Laura and Ashton had four children; Patricia Ann, Sally Mae, Larry, and Alberta. Laura had four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in rest by her father, Victor Batiste; her mother Lucy Batiste, her two sisters, Virginia Jones, and Anna Clay; her brothers, Preston Batiste, Clarence Batiste and Lawrence Batiste; her husband, Ashton Melancon; her daughter, Patricia Ann Melancon; and her granddaughter Audrey Ann King.
