Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd., Humble TX. Pastor James H. Reece will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. following the funeral at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston. A visitation will take place from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at the funeral home.
Laverne was born on March 18, 1941 in Terrell, TX to parents Causey and Fannie (Lowe) Singelton. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her siblings; Mildred Davis, Nancy Morris, Learoy Singelton, Ben Singelton and Bob Singelton.
On August 6, 1971 Laverne married Thomas M. Boyce, he survives. Also surviving are their children; Michael Boyce, Lisa Seiter, Cindy Walker, Debbie West, Terry Ashley, Dewight Ashley and Bill Ashley. She is also survived by multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Laverne enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
