A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Grace Family Church, 23007 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX. Pastor Mike Burton will officiate.
Leinani was born in Houston on June 9, 1947 to parents Refugio and Mary (Cruz) Balli. Mary passed away when Leinani was one and she was raised by her step mother, Mercidez Balli.
On November 11, 1989 Leinani married Jack R. Patterson in Humble, TX and they have spent 34years together. She is survived by her husband Jack, her son Bobby Gomes and her grandchildren, Picabo, Murphy, Matthew and Michael Gomes. Her siblings, Frank Balli, Monica Balli-Flores, Johnny Balli and Ray Balli also survive her.
Leinani worked in food service for many years making lifelong friends along the way. She enjoyed waiting tables at Denny’s and working with the children in the school cafeteria. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends, drawing, making flowers and jewelry.
