Lynda Mae Halsey

She was born in Stockton California on October 18th of 1940 to her loving parents Ethel and Robert.

Lynda graduated from Harlingen High School.

She was married to Thomas Frank Halsey on August 19th of 1960, they were married for over 50 years.

Lynda had a passion and love for animals, watching movies and musicals, taking trips to the casinos, and playing games on her phone with her friends and family.

Lynda is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ethel Rodger, husband Thomas Halsey, son in laws Charles Golden and Bobbie Nerie, grandson Thomas Helms and great grandson Jayce Christopher Hayman.

Lynda is survived by her children Barbara Golden, Debra Martin (Eugene Martin), Gayle Nerie, Brenda Helms (Mark Helms), Christopher Halsey (Tammie Halsey) and Alysha Halsey, her grandchildren Carol Golden, Aindrea Halsey, Rebecca Golden, Christopher Halsey Jr., Amanda Helms, Donna Gilmour (Scott Gilmour), Brittney Halsey, Krysten Halsey, Leonardo Halsey, and Nathan Halsey, her great-grandchildren Lilly Mae Cruz, Adalyn Rae Gilmour, Wesley Scott Gilmour and her beloved fur babies Sugar or Sugar Butt and Pickles.

She will forever be in our memories and heart.

A visitation for Lynda will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home and Cem, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:20 PM at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038.
