         I want to give thanks to God, who gave me a son like you. He knows you by your name before you were born 🙏. Beta, there is so much to say about you. You are our handsome, kind hearted, always helpful to everyone, giving , stayed hungry and gave food to others who are hungry, cheerful, my leader, my champion, knowledgeable, sharing, and very caring, my baby ❤️.
Beta, your dad, and I, and your brother Alex- we love you so so so much and are very proud of you for all these years. Marlon you are always with us, especially you are always in my heart beta ❤️. My sisters and I grew up with you & Alex, your family lived with us back in those good old fun Brooklyn days. I can remember the countless great memories we had running around, eating, playing games and driving all the grown-ups insane. Lol we all felt we had two brothers around to share with the laughter and mischievous young fun. You always had that huge wonderful smile on your face— best smile, for sure. You were energetic, strong and never felt tired, you kept going even till the end. The fastest track runner, helped everyone out even strangers not only your parents & brother. We don’t even know where to begin with you, there are just so many memories. You moved later to Texas, and we didn’t get to see you that often but we still remember the times we shared in our NY years. 
We know you’re in a better place than this temporary, difficult, cold-hearted world. Hope to see you again & please say hello to my dearest Nancy. We love you both.

I was only about three years old when Marlon and his family moved out of New York so I didn’t become well acquainted with him until our trip to Houston in 2015. For the couple of days we were together, I got to learn about the kind soul that Marlon is. He always made sure that Kenneth, Matthew and I had smiles on our faces. He took us everywhere in his red truck, spending so much time with us and making sure we were having a good trip. The countless laughs and memories made is something that I’ll always keep close to me. Marlon had a huge heart and I’ll always remember him for doing his best to make everyone around him happy. He was so energetic, compassionate and selfless. The way he made an impact on everyone around him is so special and truly unforgettable. We love you Marlon and I know you’re rejoicing in Heaven with the Lord, spared from the pain of this temporary life. I’m going to miss you and I can’t wait to see you again soon.

Dearest Marlon,

As I write this I can’t help but remember our fondest memories. You know, the school dances and award ceremonies- the times spent at my house, our endless and (very early) cross country practices- and far more times spent running than actually walking. Thank you for being who you were in moments where it seemed like everyone was trying to find themselves. 

You were the boy that everyone wanted to be. So honest, handsome, smart, respectful- a hard worker and most importantly kind to everyone you met. You leave behind a legacy at such a young age and all who speak on your behalf say you were the reason that they were inspired to be better, to do better. 

May God watch over your family in the times where it seems unbearably hard. I am certain I will see you again, for you have so much more to write. By the way, your mom is one of the strongest women ever. I have watched her love you unconditionally- and without thought.

Marlon, you were such an amazing friend and beautiful soul. We had such great times practicing during PISA! I remember that you were a natural dancer and I wasn't but you were also very nice about it. We will miss you and thank you for having been such a great friend and for our awesome high school memories with our PISA group. You will forever be in our hearts and in our prayers. 

Dear Marlon, 

I remember like it was yesterday the day we first met. It was the first day of football practice in the 7th grade. Although I had heard rumors about your athletic abilities I was astonished once I witnessed your talent in person. Your speed was truly God given and you led our teams to countless victories over the years. Although everyone knew you as the fastest boy in school I was even more impressed with your humble attitude and generous spirit. The countless hours we spent working hard at practice translated into the blood, sweat and tears we shed during wins and losses that molded us into the men we became.

I am so glad we shared so many laughs and smiles. I am grateful that I had the chance to grow up along side of you and watch you transform from a teenager into a great young adult. As we drew close to each other so did our families. I can only thank you for the love you showed towards my sister, mother and grandmother and the love your parents and brother showed towards me.

You were a man of great Faith, dignity, and respect. You will be forever missed my friend. I am honored for the moments we shared together and you will forever be in my memories and in my heart. Love you!

Although we were thousands of miles apart for most of our lives, I had the pleasure of crossing paths with you a few times. I can't forget the days in Nadiad when we'd take you to the roof to fly kites. You enjoyed it to the fullest.

Many years later, we reconnected in New York. It felt as if we hadn't missed a beat. You were still that kid I remembered, full of excitement.

Your family visited us in California in 2011. You had grown up and your priorities were bikes, cars and anything fast. You and Alex got rides in my car. The smiles on your faces were priceless.

Kind, loving and stylish are some of the ways that I will remember you. May god keep you close by until the next time we meet brother. You and your family will be in our prayers.

Marlon and I first met our freshman year at KF we were both in IBA together and later ran together. Yet, I will never forget Freshman year in our Biology class with Mr. G. I was new and Marlon was also so humble and friendly to make sure I knew I was welcomed, through the years in other classes he continued though he would joke around with me. We had many classes over the years as we were in IBA together as well as CC and other events, even though when he graduated early we stayed in touch. Marlon, loved his family and friends around him. One thing I will always remember about Marlon is that he always had this joy about him that he wanted others to see whether while it was simply while running or through his actions he had this urge of passion and joy. He was "additional" members to many of our friend's families that love them as his own. My heart and prayers are with his family and friends in this time as we are called to seek joy even in the darkest times, that is what Marlon would want.

I knew Marlon as of my younger brother best  friend every time I met him he made it memorable.  He was such a kind soul, very loving caring and giving respect to everyone. When I met him the very first time I felt like he knew me forever. 
I will miss you Marlon so much you were a part of our family and will remain in our hearts forever. 

 I had the honor of being Marlon's counselor at Klein Forest. I remember meeting with him and his mom trying to work out how he was going to graduate a year early. He kept telling me he could get it all done and that I shouldn't worry. He never lost faith and when he graduated early with Honors he thanked me for helping him achieve this goal. He is one of my favorite students. I will always cherish the memories. Marlon was so humble. He  had the best and most sincere smile. He could have gone to any university after high school but wanted to stay close to help his brother, Alex, who is just as humble and giving. He is his brother's legacy. I love you Parmar family. Praying for you.

Marlon as we all know had an unmatched zest for life. The majority of my memories of him are from when we were young kids. He was always the funny, silly, happy kid who would brighten up anyone's day. He was always a very loving and caring person, always concerned about the welfare of others, especially his younger brother Alex. We had an awesome childhood (thank you parents!), I know all of us cousins remember the fun sleepovers we had at Marlon and Alex's house. Marlon in his 26 years was able to live his life to the fullest something most of us forget to do. We should all live life as he did, enjoying the little things, being adventurous, and thankful for the blessed life we have. So live each day in remembrance of loved ones who have passed, enjoy those still here,  and love fiercely. 

RIP Marlon. You will forever be missed. We love you.

Marlon was one of the brightest, selfless, driven students I've ever had the pleasure of teaching. He was always happy and encouraging those around him. His smile was infectious and he blessed all that knew him. I know that our prince is gracing the heavens with his angelic presence.

My son Jeremy and Marlon were friends during elementary school in Staten Island, where this photo was taken. Our deepest condolences to the family. May God give you all peace and comfort during this difficult time. 

We cruised around in our cars together, we rode around on our motorcycles together. Marlon and I shared a huge love for autos, and that’s how we grew our brother hood. My favorite memory with Marlon was when he showed up fully dressed in traditional clothes to a casual car meet. He wasn’t shy about it, he was brave and proud. It puts a smile on my face remembering walking around with him sparking like a “prince” as he said. Not only did Marlon have love for autos, but he had love for everyone and anyone. This is what made Marlon so special, he was brave, he was proud for who he was, he helped others whenever possible, he was always looking for ways to improve in himself, and made his dreams into reality. As we mourn the loss of a beloved son, brother, and dear friend we take comfort in the assured words of our loving Heavenly Father at John 5:28-29, Revelation 21:3-4.....1Corinthians 15:26

As I reflect on the life of Marlon, the first thing that comes to mind is a respectful young man of gentle disposition. His kindness and thought  for others were of the utmost importance. 

Marlon and my children attended Wunderlich Middle School and Klein Forest High School. They ran track and cross-country together.  Marlon was  known as the man of speed who always carried his team mates to victory.  

My fondest memory of his thoughtfulness is one Mother’s Day a few years ago, Marlon showed up at our home with some of the most BEAUTIFUL RED ROSES for as he puts it, his second Mom and Grandma. That  gesture of kindness I will hold dear in my heart until I see my friend again. 

I am solidified in my conviction, that Marlon is resting peacefully in God’s memory awaiting the promised resurrection in a peaceful new world.

Where do I start...I can’t think of a single time when I was around Marlon and we weren’t laughing. Marlon had the biggest heart I have ever seen in a person. He was always so giving and willing to help others. I remember when I lost my car keys and he drove me an hour away to pick them up at midnight. All it took was one call and Marlon was at my door. The most kind and generous person I know till this day. He had the most welcoming personality towards everyone not only people he knows. Marlon was a gem of a person and it breaks my heart so so much to see him go. God chose the most beautiful soul to be right beside him and he will be missed so dearly. Rest in heaven my friend. You will always be treasured <3

Parmar, as I always called you. I still can't believe you're not here. You were the essence of a good student. You were wonderful in my class. You were always pleasant and kind. Your talents as an athlete and academics are a welcome sight to any teacher and you never disappointed. You always had a smile on your face. Your hair was never out of place except for the one time for track meet, lol. You are forever memorialized as my 7th grade Spanish student. Rest in peace. Senor Warren will always remember you.

For the short time that I spent with Marlon, he was the kindest, funniest and most selfless person I knew. My favorite memory with him is from my 16th birthday. I was throwing a major temper tantrum because I didn’t have a tiara. Marlon took it upon himself to take me to the mall and guide me through a handful of stores to find the perfect one. He watched while I tried on what seemed like hundreds of crowns, and never complained. I will never forget the look of happiness on his face when I had found the one I loved. He radiated joy and happiness with everyone around him, and truly wished to help in any capacity that he could. Marlon had quickly turned into an older brother figure to me and I knew I could call him or text him whenever, whether it be in the middle of class, or 2AM. He would always answer and help me through whatever I was going through. I will forever have a brother in him.

This still feels unreal. Marlon, you were just like a brother to me and you truly were part of our family. You brought such good energy and positivity to any situation. We’ve had an endless amount of heart to heart conversations wether it was during lunch at KF or at my house or at our go to hookah spots, tarboosh & red sky. I still remember teasing you about all the girls you’d have crushes on but also telling you how you were too good for them. I remember telling you that you were Kevin G. from Mean Girls lol. PISA was always our main hang out. It brought all of us together and you were one of the main guys who actually would stunt hard in your fire sharwani’s and then stunt hard at the after party at Ihop. So many memories! I remember you’d walk me to my classes and get late to your own when we were still at KF. I remember all the times you would come over to our house and bring m&m grill or gyro king!! It’s so hard accepting that you’re really gone. There isn’t a day that has gone by where you haven’t crossed my mind. They say the good ones go too soon and it’s true. You were honestly one of the nicest, caring, and most genuine friend I have ever had. I am lucky to have known you. Until we meet again. Love you, bro. 

Me and my brother met in middle school, me and him always had a strong connection like how any brother would with his older brother. There's alot I can say about him but that can take a whole day. Marlon is one of a kind, he would do anything to make anyone's day. I quote "Actions speak louder than words" his personality stands out. He is like family to most people he knew. One of my memorable moments with Marlon is that I will never forget would be the day we decided to go to Dallas randomly to go eat in n out and come back the same day, we were sleepy and exhausted sitting in the car for almost 8 hours just for a burger haha. We never planned anything out to do anything our hangouts were random. Marlon brother we love you!!!

I first met Marlon when my brother Hanish brought him and his friends home for dance practice. Marlon walked into the house and immediately asked my Mom "Aunty, nashto che?", which Mom still talks about and smiles. Just like that, he fit right in with any crowd and made an abundance of friendships. Of Hanish's friend's, Marlon was Mom's favorite.
He introduced us to Maggi chilli sauce, which he raved about to Mom. We still think about him when we pick up his favorite hot sauce. 

Marlon and I were in all of the same programs and organizations- IBA, PISA, and HOSA. He was known and distinguished in IBA, and very active in PISA. He would finish his classes, go for a run and then come back absolutely drenched in sweat to do couple dance practices. He had so much energy and drive, he never quit. He was everyone's favorite.

He and I weren't very close friends, but he took the time to get to know me and made observations/remarks on my obsessive collection of super long earrings (he was the first to notice!) and jingly keychains.  We'd fistbump in the hallway when we saw eachother, I'd give him "love advice" when he got his heart broken, and he'd invite me to run with him when I'd make comments on how unfit I am. I never took him up on that, since he was the fastest runner I knew back then. Who races a record-breaking running champion?!

Marlon will be very missed and dearly remembered in our home. He lived to the fullest and was full of love for everyone he knew. I can't remember a single day when he frowned at anyone or anything, he was always all smiles--and that is how he will be remembered.

Marlon was a breath of fresh air. He was always so positive and kind hearted. I remember at every PISA show we’d perform at he would talk to me and Sana right before we went onstage, it was honestly pretty filmy how he went about it. It still brings a smile to my face when I think of those moments. He offered encouragement and always brought a sense of comfort. He will he missed dearly.  

Marlon, I am going to miss you alot! My handsome cousin, you’ve taught me to be happy in all situations and take life lightly. I am going to miss our photoshoots and silly texts. I know you are in a safe place and pray for peace for your family (auntu, uncle and alex) .. Love you :)

My dear Marlon, I met you when I became your Nurse Practitioner four years ago. You always looked very peaceful each time I visited you until the end of your days here on earth. God has taken you back to be with him and the Saints. I know you’re looking down from above and smiling. Continue to rest in God’s holy hands until we meet again. Amen🙏.

Marlon was my dear friend, and just like a younger brother to me. We met in Wunderlich and got to know each other better at KF when we joined PISA. He was the nicest person I've ever. His contagious smile can light up a room and his funny stories could change anyone's day. He easily made so many friends and was always there for them. Marlon was not only just my friend, but also my younger sister and brother's. When we would hang out, it always felt like family. I remember posting on facebook how annoying it was to move apartments, immediately Marlon reached out to me asking if I needed any help and showed up right away. There are so many memories of him which only go to showing what a wonderful, caring, and genuine person he was. He never ever let his friends down.
Marlon is a true reflection of his family. His parents and younger brother resonate the same type of warmth, love, and respect just like Marlon. My heart is so heavy, but I know he is in a much better place. I pray everyday for the family during this difficult time. I will think of you everyday, my dear friend, you will always be missed. Rest Easy.

I met Marlon in high school. We became best friends during that time period. There was never a moment where I couldn’t count on him. His generous heart and kindness is what he was most known for. I will never forget the countless hours he spent teaching me how to drive. The after school adventures we would endure with friends. The endless effort he gave to make sure his friends were doing ok. I’ve never met an individual like Marlon. He made an impact in our lives and I’ll never forget him.
