On July 30, 1974 , Esther Williams was blesse d with a daughter whom she named Monique. Monique attended public schools in the Houston Independent School District. Monique accepted Christ at an early age.
As she matured into adulthood, Monique gained employment with HP and Northwest Hospital which helped her support her family. Until her untimely death she was employed with Amazon for three years. Monique gave birth to four children, Brittany, Kenya, Leon, and Anthony. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Monique loved styling hair and she always had a smile on her face. She loved being a mom and she loved, loved, loved being a granny.
Monique transitioned from her physical life to a spiritual existence on July 8, 2022. She is now, in no pain, no pressure and has no more problems . She will be missed but never forgotten. Preceding her in death are her grandparents Rufus & Francis Williams Askew , her mother Esther Williams, on e uncle, Rufus Williams, Jr., and one aunt, Sheila Turner and one nephew Joshua Vinson.
To cherish her memory and praise her resurrection are her children, two sons, Leon and Anthony Williams, two daughters, Brittany and Kenya Williams. She also leaves to cherish memories, one brother, Tedrick Williams . one sister, McShea Vinson eleven grandchildren, Mykal , Kahlia , Keyiona , Kymber , Knowledge, Jordan, Leon Jr., Za’riyah , Tehlani , Skylar and Kennedy, and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life for Monique will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A graveside service will occur Friday, July 22, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A repass will occur Friday, July 22, 2022 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A visitation will occur Friday, July 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
