Sebastian Lazar Cocan

Sebastian went to The Woodlands and Magnolia high school where he finished with honors, finished EMT school, and went to fight for our freedom in USA Army, where he was promoted 2 times in a very short time of him being in the army was an example for many soldiers and officers. Sebastian was ready for the Army, very organized, punctual, respectful, honest, and always had, has God with him. So the credit is mine 😉

Went to flight school where he has 3 licenses as a pilot. He took me with him in the skies for the longest one full hour of my life but I trusted him with all that I am. I would go through fire with him to follow him because I knew that everything would be ok. Sebastian climbed many rocks, and mountains.

Sebastian loved the nature, mountains, climbing, adventure was all he wanted but not before GOD.

When he was going through a hard time he would take Bible and read for God to guide him, but not only when hard time hit, he prayed before eating a meal, he always prayed.

Sebastian loved to read to be informed of everything, health, medical, politics, presidents of USA, loved history, geography, mathematics, physics, and number one religion.

The Bible, it was in him, he loved the Romanian orthodox church. Sebastian loved to learn and speak Romanian, he loved all the Romanian parties, the people, the music, the most he loved is to dance on any kind of music.

He was full of life.

Sebastian loved planes, helicopters and he wanted to finish all his pilot licenses. “Fly High Son ! “

Unfortunately as parents we can’t control what they love or not. We are there to guide, support and love them unconditionally. Sebastian loved guns, all kind of guns, he wanted to know all about them.

Sebastian was the one to calm me down when I needed to, and he did it with in a min and my peace was in me. Sebastian loved and loves Christopher Philip Cocan sooo much, he was worried about his surroundings and about, everyday he would ask where is Chris, when is he coming home, what does he wants to do with his future? Sebastian loved, respected and listened sooo much Bela Nagy.

Sebastian loved his Dad Daniel Cocan so very much he never hanged up the phone before he would say “I love You DAD! “

Sebastian loves his MOM more than anything in the world, and I love him too, he trusted me soo much that he would let me do surgery on him if I would have to.

No words can describe the pain but Sebi and God will keep strong and told me to fight to earn the Holy Crown to be with them and I finished my Job on this world!

He is survived by his Mother Diana Nagy(Bela Nagy), Father Daniel Gheorghe Cocan (Nichole Welker), Brother Christopher Cocan, and all his family that loved him and will always miss him.

A committal service will occur Monday, October 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cremations, 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Mary Magdalene Romanian Orthodox Church, 318 Canino Rd, Houston, TX 77076.
