Wanda Louise Federick of Spring, Texas has made her heavenly entrance into the kingdom of the Lord on June 8, 2023. Wanda was born in Atlanta, Texas on December 19, 1958 to the late parents of Dorothy Louise Sasser and Steve Trotter where she attended and graduated from Atlanta High School.
Wanda went on and pursued her Bachelors degree in Business from Prairie View A&M University. She was a dedicated member of the illustrious, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
She accepted Jesus Christ in her life at an early age and attended First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Texas. Wanda later became a member of Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Houston, Texas (Acres Homes). During her time at Mt. Ararat, she served as an enthusiastic member of the choir and enjoyed spreading her love for God.
Wanda married Ricky Federick on November 12, 1983 and was blessed with 33 years of marriage until his death in May of 2016.
Wanda enjoyed shopping, going out to eat, and tasting food with a refreshing glass of wine. Singing, listening to great music, and watching a good Lifetime movie were some of her favorite things to do. It was common for her to record TV shows and watch them again and again. Her joy was spending time with her family and her God children Natalye and Denzel.
She had an amazing sense of fashion and loved to coordinate her wardrobe with matching jewelry, a fashionable wig, and sometimes a hat to top it off. The last touch of class would be to spray on her favorite perfume from her many collections. She was a diva at best.
Wanda worked diligently through the years and was dedicated to achieving her career goals. She was a Sr. Admissions Representative at Florida Career College. Throughout her career, she met many amazing friends and co-workers that led to lifelong relationships.
