Alfred Moss

Alfred D. Moss Jr., age 73, died on Friday June 10, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook. Born in Philadelphia, he was a 60 year resident of Trevose. He was the son of the late Alfred D. Sr. and Emma May Moss.

Al was a Self Employed Residential Builder serving Bucks County for over 38 years. He was a member of local #1073 Carpenters Union for over 13 years. He proudly served his Country for 5 years in the Army. Al coached Boys Bowling at Neshaminy H.S. for the last 21 years, and was a Junior Bowling Coach at Penndel Bowling Lanes for 30 years. He himself was an avid bowler for over 50 years. He also coached Baseball for 19 years in the Lower Southampton Athletic Association. Al loved watching his Grandkids participating in many various activities, watching the Phillies play, and camping in Cape May, NJ..

A.D. is survived by his soul mate of 51 years, Martha. He was the loving father of Brian (his wife Christa), Kevin (his wife Theresa), and Keith (his wife Lisa) Moss. He was the devoted Grandfather of Shane, Samantha, Alec, Connor, Liam, Keira, and Gavin. He will be sadly missed by his brother John ( his wife Laura), his sister Janet (her husband John), brother in law Lee (his wife Judy) and many neices, nephews and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service; Tuesday June 14 from 9:30 to 12:30 pm. Followed by his funeral Service at 12:30 at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Rd Huntingdon Valley, PA. His inurnment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in A.D.'s name to the Lower Southampton Athletic Association 636 Avenue “ A” Feasterville, PA 19053.
