Arthur was a retired employee of SEPTA, working in to his 90’s. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran of the Air Force. He was Communicant of St. Timothy Catholic Church in Lady Lake and had previously been a member of St. Timothy’s Parish in Philadelphia. Mr. Nolan was a member of the Moose, the American Legion, and the WW II Club in the Villages.
Arthur was the beloved husband of Ellen (nee Ball) for 50 years before her death in 1994. He was the devoted father of Kaleen Glica, and Ellen Appleton (David). He was the loving grandfather of Kathleen Glica (Branko Jakominich), Jonathan Glica, Alex and Andrew Appleton.
A private interment took place in Forest Hills Cemetery in Huntingdon Valley, PA.
