Catherine Coller

Catherine (Cass) Coller, age 77, loving mother, Mom-Mom and friend, left this earth to take her rightful place in heaven in the early hours of May 14th.

Cass was born on February 8, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA where she grew up surrounded by her large extended family. She was the youngest of five siblings and the only girl. Cass was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others, and she incorporated that into her motherhood.

She met her husband, Jim in 1970 after they were introduced by his cousin. They fell in love instantly and were married a short time later and decided to start their own family. As a mother she was generous, loving and kind. Her passion for raising children led her to act as a nanny for several family friends over the years. This is also why she felt so much joy in being a “Mom-Mom”, as well. In her free time, Cass loved to vacation at the shore with her family and friends. Whether it was strolling on the beach, playing miniature golf on the boardwalk, dining at the Crab Trap or taking her grandchildren on boardwalk rides – those moments were truly her happy place. Cass will be greatly missed by all who shared their life with her.

Cass was preceded in death by James (Jim) Coller (Husband), Harry Siegrist (Father), Kathryn Siegrist (Mother), Harry Siegrist (Brother), Fred Siegrist (Brother) and James Siegrist (Brother). Cass is also survived by Mary P. Logan (Aunt), William Siegrist (Brother), James Coller (Son) and his wife, Hope, Kimberly Coller Lyles (Daughter) and her husband, Brian and her three grandchildren, Cierra Lyles, Alex Coller and Evan Coller.

There will be a visitation (10:00AM - 11:00AM) followed by a memorial service for those who would like to celebrate her life with the family on Friday, June 9, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA.
