Born in Philadelphia, PA, she lived in Lower Southampton for over 60 years.
Mrs. Schilk was the sales supervisor for McCrory’s 5& 10 Department Store.
She was pre-deceased by her husband Joseph J. Schilk in 1991 and her son Joseph C. Schilk in 1988. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Cecilia and Joseph Dixon, and her two grandsons, Joseph Driscoll and Matthew Dixon.
A viewing will be held between 9:30am-10:30am, followed by a 10:30am Mass, on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Parish Saint Christopher, 13301 Proctor Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Grace Parish Church in Langhorne. In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made to: Gypsy Kitties TNR Service, 117 Harding Ave, Feasterville, PA 19053. Mrs. Schilk believed in her daughter Cecil and encouraged her to follow her dreams. She was an active supporter of Cecil’s charity, Gypsy Kitties.
