Daniel's hobbies included classical music (especially attending his son Lance’s piano concerts), dancing with his wife Anita, collecting Oriental objects of arts, interior decorating, Japanese garden landscaping, planning creative family trips (museums, historical houses, sculpture gardens, sight seeing etc.), novel writing, furniture making, classic movies, documentaries, gourmet restaurants (French cuisine etc.), drawing and painting, playing piano, organizing concerts (for his son Lance), visiting with close friends, nature outings (visiting farms, nature preserves), charity volunteer work, entertaining children as a clown in parades and magician, etc.
Schooling - Liberal arts college courses as well as courses in his specialty of traffic consulting
Jobs - Traffic Consultant, founded his own firm (in business for more than 60 years). Formerly traffic manager at companies.

Daniel was preceded in death by his wife Anita Wiseman and survived by Lance Wiseman (son), Hong Wiseman (daughter in-law), and Morris Wiseman (brother).
