Helen Owsiak

Helen Owsiak, died on October 8, 2011 at the Pine Run Community in Doylestown. She was 87 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Julia Baczkowski. She was a resident of the Pine Run for the past year. She has previously lived in North Wales since 1985.

Mrs. Owsiak was a retired employee of Safe Guard in Lansdale and Mail Advertising in North Wales. Helen was very family oriented and loved caring for her children and grandchildren. She was an excellent cook. She was a Communicant of the Mary Mother of the Redeemer Parish in North Wales.

Helen was the beloved wife of Joseph J Owsiak for 65 years before his death in 2010. She was the loving mother of Joseph J. Owsiak, Jr. (Patricia) of Horsham, and Marlene Vas (Joseph K.) of North Wales. She was the devoted grandmother of Julie D’Aquila, John Owsiak, and Lisa Owsiak; cherished great grandmother of Breanna Lee, Sierra D’Aquila, Caitlyn and Emma Owsiak. She was the sister of Florence Martinez and the late Stella Gratkowski.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA and Friday from 9 to 10 AM at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Rod, North Wales, PA. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM. The Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Horsham.
