

Helen K. Turner died on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at her residence. She was 88 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Florence Katulka. Helen, a Feasterville resident since 1980, had previously lived in Philadelphia.
Mrs. Turner was a retired employee of Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Philadelphia. After her retirement she became a licensed real estate agent.
Helen was a graduate of Rosemont College, Class of 1951. She was a communicant of Saint Christopher parish in Philadelphia.
Helen was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and sitting outside and talking to her neighbors. She enjoyed the shore and trips to Cape May. It was on one of her trips to Cape May that she met her husband, Jack.
Helen was the beloved wife of John F. Turner Jr. for sixty-five years. She was the devoted mother of Elizabeth Wells (the late Gerald) of Feasterville, Susan Shahroodi (Ardavan Ayandeh) of Boston MA, John Turner III of Feasterville, Barbara Turner of Bensalem, Timothy Turner (Jo Ann Lata) of Decatur GA, Lisa Anderson (John) of Schwenksville, Stephen Turner (Sandra) of Richboro, Mark Turner (Regina) of Coatesville and James Matthew Turner of Feasterville. She is the sister of the late Stephen Katulka. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and a great grandson.
Relatives and Friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 9 to 11 AM at Saint Christopher Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia 19116. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM. Her inurnment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
