

She was a long time resident of Feasterville. Joan was born on January 5, 1952 in Doylestown, to parents, John and Virginia Lukens. She graduated from Central Bucks High School in 1969. She continued her education, graduating from Ursinus College with a degree in Mathematics and subsequently a Masters degree from Penn State.
Joan began her career as a teacher for the Haverford School District, she then worked in the Bucks County Office of Employment and Training and finished her career as the Registrar for Penn State Abington. She was active in the Penn State retirees organization following her retirement in 2017.
Joan loved to garden and was very proud of her flower gardens in front of the house. She loved to travel, especially to European cities. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family, especially her 7 grandchildren.
Joan was preceded in death by her mother, father and an older brother John and sister Virginia.
Joan is survived by her husband Charles Raudenbush, Jr., daughter Janet Hausch and husband Thomas; Beth Bowen and her husband Derek; Barbara DiNoia and her husband Gerald and Charles Raudenbush, III and his wife Ashley. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Andrew, Emaline, Reese, Anna, Spencer, Reid and Miles, her dear friends and several nieces and nephews .
A visitation for Joan will be held Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Rd, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. A private inurnment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
Immediately following the services all are invited to a luncheon at Maggio's Restaurant, 2nd Street Pike Southampton, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
