Joanne Ethel Kile

Joanne E. “Jo” Kile passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Saint Joseph Manor in Huntingdon Valley. She was sixty-nine years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Herbert & Ethel Samuelson. Joanne was a Trevose resident for the last forty-three years and had an additional residence in Coopersburg, PA.

Mrs. Kile and her husband Joseph owned & operated “Kile Alarms” in Trevose.

Jo was an avid reader. She enjoyed playing games and watching movies with her grandchildren, shopping at Peddler’s Village and especially eating ice cream. Jo rescued a number of cats over the years.

Joanne was the beloved wife of Joseph M. Kile for 50 years. She was a devoted mother of April Somershoe and son-in-law Brian of Bensalem. She was the loving grandmother of Madison & Zackary, and great-grandmother of Maylee. She is sister to Elaine Howard and her late brother Carl H. Samuelson. She is also survived by her nieces Tanya McGinley, Karen Barnett and nephew Eric Samuelson.

Relatives & Friends are invited to greet the family at the Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Her memorial service will begin at 1 p.m.
