Joseph Manaloor Abraham

Joseph Manaloor Abraham, known by his family as Bijoy, was born on August 10, 1981 in Tirvandrum, Kerala, India to Drs. Varkey (Manaloor family) and Rani Abraham (Alangaden family). He graduated from State College Area High School in 1999 and completed his undergraduate and master’s degrees at Pennsylvania State University in 2003 and 2010 respectively. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant and financial planner at Vanguard.

In addition to his academic and professional achievements, he actively served the Lord at St. Norbert’s Catholic Church where he was the leader of the Young Adult Ministry. Joseph held a deep understanding of the Word of God and enjoyed sharing it with others. He was known to be humble, kind, pure hearted, and found happiness in even the smallest things. He enjoyed reading, hiking and camping. He lived up to his birth name Bijoy by bringing joy to all those around him with his quirky sense of humor and zest for life.

Joseph Abraham was unexpectedly called to be with The Lord on February 7th, 2017. He is survived by his father, Dr. Varkey Abraham, his mother, Dr. Rani Abraham, and his brothers Dr. Antony Abraham and Jacob Abraham.
