Lois Esther Thorpe Jones

Lois Esther Thorpe Jones died on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Rydal Park in Rydal, PA. She was 86 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she is the daughter of the late James and Florence Bean Thorpe. Lois was a resident of Huntingdon Valley for the past 50 years.

Mrs. Jones was a homemaker. She was also a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Rail Road. She enjoyed gardening and loved caring for her dogs.

Lois was the beloved wife of John T. Jones, Jr. for 48 years before his death in 2008. She was the devoted mother of Theodore Jones of Media, PA. She was the loving sister of Thelma Cramer, Doris Thomas, and Ross Thorpe.

Relatives and friends are invited to her graveside service 11 AM on Wednesday, November 7, at Forest Hills Cemetery, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
