Lois Anne Kunz

Lois was born on January 12, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Fred and Marie Bergauer. She graduated from Archbishop Wood in 1971. She continued her education at Penn State University with a major in Art. The job Lois held most dear was as a lunchroom monitor at Inglewood Elementary School. She always lit up when the children she used to watch over recognized her many years later.

Lois loved to spend her free time adventuring with her husband, discovering new beaches. She was passionate about photography and crafting. Her favorite time of day to photograph was sunrise on the beach.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Steve and both of her parents, Fred and Marie Bergauer.

Lois is survived by her son Andrew and his wife Desiree, sister Diane Ream and husband Bill, brother Mike Bergauer, and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held during interment at Forest Hills Cemetery on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 12:30pm.

In lieu of flowers and mourning, it is Lois’s request that her friends and family fly a kite in her remembrance.
